Felix Pastorius ARTIST STRAP

Lior and Felix first met at a Tim Lefebvre (an LK Artist as well) at Rockwood Club in NYC. Lior came to the show to bring Tim his custom made straps for him, so he had many LK’s with him, after spotting Felix in the crowd, Lior didn’t think twice and went to introduce himself. After a few minutes Felix and Lior became very friendly and the next day Lior was in Felix’s apartment to talk and match straps for all of his basses.

Few fun facts!
*At the day Felix invited me and my wife to his apartment, we matched some straps and wen’t downstairs for a quick photoshoot with all of Felix’s incredible and somewhat expensive basses. Me and my wife were literally shaking while we wen’t down the stairs being so carful to not dent any bass or drop it haha!

*Another fun fact, Felix has about 6 LK straps (on all of his main basses) and most of them are so old they don’t even have an LK logo on them. Check out his live videos with his Jazz Bass and that spray paint strap was made by us.

Lastly, a question I get asked quite often is “who is that man on Felix’s strap” ? So.. long story short, it’s a mystery man that was on a shaving cream ad from the early 1940’s! The ad was in a Time magazine and when I saw it, I had to make a strap out of it. When Felix saw the strap, he immediately said he wants to have it as an artist model and that’s how the Felix Pastorius strap model was born.
